Hey boys and girls.

I believe this is the proper subforum to post to, if not, please moove the topic.

Anyways, lately i have been experiencing some heavy lagg on the GQ Suez server. Someone on the shoutbox said they did too.

It is not a tipical type of lagg, rather a general drop of framerate, which makes the game annoying to play.

At first i thought it was my PC, but hell, this is an old game, and should not present a big challenge to my hardware, some newer games don't.
But when i did all i could, and the prob. was still here i tryed another server, surprisingly, everything was ok.

Basically, when on 2142 GQ Suez, game seems to lag a lot, when on any other server or game everything is ok.
My ping is usually around 60-ish. So it aint that either.

I'm confused here...

ive got a ping of 40-50 normally. and especially on titans me and others often jump around quite a bit

It's all the knife whores running around like lunatics which couse it :D.

My ping is normally 10 - 20, which is great.

Tracerts would be helpfull. Please post them here, if you experience lag.

Run > Cmd > tracert 81.19.209.31

Then copy/paste to the forum. Here (http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/2008/02/07/how-to-copy-text-from-windows-error-message-and-command-prompt/) is how to do that.

It can be aa spam, especially if there is alot of sentry guns shooting on the titan.

ahaha, Sentry guns ...they spam more than anyone, and when there is like 20 of them on each titan + AA spamming...then there is trouble lol

might be that, in the last few rounds ive played there were 3-6 sentry guns all shooting in corridor 1, and with no apprent reason for being there. they were attackers

I've seen 4 or 5 sentry guns in one corridor before, it's so pointless, and counter productive as they just end up shooting eachother because of the positioning of them.

I noticed the same,i think it is since we introduced battle recorder,the lag has got worse,could this be the problem.

There was no different at all after we started to have battle recorder on.

When I hear people complain about lag (on vent or voip), then most of the time I don't suffer from lag, or just slightly. But then again I always have a low ping (around 20).

The thing is, it has nothing to do with ping, at least this lag i am feeling. 60-ish is not so bad, and i always play with that.

Something else most probabbly is. :(

Same here. It really only lags when im on titan and there is aa-spammers or im in the titan and there is a lot of sentry guns..

I think my lag is beacause of the peaks i have in the latency on the way to the server.....row 12 in the first picture, row 10 and 12 in the second picture....

yeah its realy luggy and the server is going often down. One reason is the aa spam.
