Well that's just protein essentially, no real formed organs. Not particularly apptetising, cuts of fully grown versions would taste better.

Yes I did hear it right :), and wouldn't hesitate to try it if it was served to me, partly because of maners, and also because of what I said :)
It's basically just cow meat, just less grown as it is still a fetus, although you are eating the whole thing, as pocktio said there is no real formed organs.

It disturbs you because it's a foetus. Eating the same animal grown up doesn't disturb anyone. But the result is the same for the animal. Don't act like you've never eaten somethng that once belonged to a living animal...
