Updating issues

hi guys, now i've got a real problem. See, your server needs clan-mod. Clan-mod needs the latest version of 2142. Now, I haven't updated anything since i bought it so it's still in the original version (NOTE: i'm using battlefield 2142 deluxe edition) I downloaded patch 1.4 and i tried to update, but all I get is a screen saying that I have a newer version :'( please help me before I go insane!!!

maybe uninstall the game and reinstall it?

From that screenshot it looks like you're trying to install patch 1.25, which would explain that error.

Re-download patch 1.40 from the link Funk provided, and try again.

BF2142 has problems with patches sometimes, half the time it's better to uninstall and install again, then apply the latest patch to the clean install.

there's a new 1.41 patch :-/ so i should need a new version of clan-mod. Just thought you should know :rolleyes:
